MU-WANG c.985 - c.907 BC Chinese Emperor Mu-wang reigned during a time when the central authority of the Chou court was challenged by surrounding feudal states. Mu-wang was able to enlarge the crown lands and to strengthen his power, with the result that the western Chou dynasty experienced a new lease of live and experienced its last flowering.
